Indigenous Australian Art Takes the Runway

Exhibition

On April 16 at 7 pm EDT we hosted a digital program featuring Ikuntji Artists and Gapuwiyak Culture and Arts, artist Aly de Groot and anthropologist Louise Hamby.

Check out the recording under the “videos” tab  to learn how Indigenous Australian artists and designers have rocked the fashion world from Darwin to Paris and beyond.

This program was part of Fashion as Art, an annual event series at The Fralin Museum of Art engaging the community with art, fashion, and the museums.
