Collaboration Archive
One of our core institutional priorities is to build and sustain collaborative relationships to deepen our impact and extend our reach. Because the museum is located across the world from the people whose art we showcase, we value and respect Indigenous people as authorities on their art and culture. As a result, we work directly with artists and knowledge holders as much as possible and provide opportunities for their voices to be heard in the United States.
This is an archive of our collaborations with individual artists, art centers and other cultural institutions. They vary from exhibitions and special events to residencies, loans, fellowships and other types of artist or research visits.
