Kluge-Ruhe brought Native American artist Frank Buffalo Hyde (Onondaga/Nez Perce) to be the resident artist of the Tom Tom Founders Festival. He led a Make Your Own Stencil Workshop, participated in Urban Sketching at Tom Yum, and did live painting throughout the weekend in various locations. His mural with Reko Rennie at the Bridge PAI was one of the first stops on the Public Art Bike Tour, and Hyde presented a brief talk about the project. He also led a flash seminar at UVA titled IN-APPROPRIATE: Native American Stereotypes in Popular Culture.
The Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia acknowledges the Monacan Nation, the traditional owners of the land and waters upon which it stands.
