Hoos Down Under

G’day HOOS! Did you know that UVA has the only museum in the United States dedicated to Indigenous Australian Art? Hoos Down Under is your free pass to explore the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection and more of what Charlottesville has to offer! Enjoy free food from Roots, live music and DJs, an outdoor film screening, and tours of the current exhibitions. Watch the sunset over the city while playing Aussie rules football or chatting up Aboriginal Barkindji artist Kent Morris. Free transportation will be provided to and from the museum, with buses running every 15 minutes from the UVA Chapel. Come open your world off grounds with HOOS DOWN UNDER! Learn more at kluge-ruhe.org/hdu.

Presented by the Native American Student Union and the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of UVA. Many thanks to our sponsors: the UVA Parents Fund, the Virginia Film Festival, the Office of the Vice Provost for the Arts, UVA Department of Anthropology and the McIntire Department of Art.

Note: This event is for UVA undergraduate and graduate students only.
