Pandanus Weaving Workshop

Learn how to weave with pandanus palm in this workshop led by Kluge-Ruhe museum educators Lauren Maupin and Fenella Belle and Second Street Gallery educator Lou Haney. Artist Regina Pilawuk Wilson is a weaver and many of her paintings are inspired by this technique, and some of the objects in her exhibition at Second Street are done in this twining technique.

Space is limited and registration is required!

We are grateful to the women of Milingimbi Arts and Culture who carefully harvested and processed by women of Milingimbi Arts and Culture, and left it with us after the visit of Raymond Bulambula and Mrs. Gorriyindi last September.
