Sonja Carmichael is a Ngugi artist and senior weaver from Quandamooka Country. She lives and works on Minjerribah/North Stradbroke Island in southeast Queensland, Australia.

Cammeerangan Ngalin-ngur Gining | From Our Ancestors’ Hands – Story Bags, on view at Kluge-Ruhe, is Carmichael’s first international solo exhibition.
