Research
What is Kluge-Ruhe exploring today? Find out here.
We are committed to a robust program of academic research and publication on artworks in our collection and artworks by visiting artists. This research is authored by:
- Indigenous and non-Indigenous art scholars, usually writing commissioned essays for exhibition publications
- UVA or other university students taking courses in Aboriginal art and culture or curatorial studies
- High school students enrolled in our Young Art Historians program developing college and career readiness skills
- Kluge-Ruhe staff
To learn about collaborations we’ve done with artists, art centers and other museums and cultural institutions, including past exhibitions and residencies, please visit the Collaboration Archive.
If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist, curator, arts worker, or you work in our field and you would like physical copies of one of our publications, please email ern5sx@virginia.edu and we will send it/them to you!
Note: The search feature only searches the title or author by keyword. It does not search the entirety of the pdf by keyword.
