Fiber Dyeing Workshop with Lucy Wanapuyngu and Louise Hamby

Join us for this dyeing workshop with Lucy Malirrimurruwuy Wanapuyngu, master fiber artist from Gapuwiyak, and Louise Hamby, anthropologist and collector. The workshop will involve dyeing pandanus fiber from northern Australia with blossoms, berries and nuts from the community, for use in twined and coiled objects such as baskets, dilly bags and mats.
